EXAMPLES OF STORAGE DEVICES

Hard disk drives are magnetic, non-volatile computer storage devices. A hard disk drive stores data on two spinning platters inside the drive.

Tape drives are another type of magnetic computer storage devices. Instead of platters, the tape drives use magnetic tape to record data.

Optical disc drives include CD, DVD, and Blu-ray. When a disc is inserted into an optical drive, the drive's laser is focused on the disc by the lens on the drive.

EXAMPLES OF OUTPUT,INPUT DEVICES

EXAMPLES OF OUTPUT DEVICES

Monitors create a visual display from processed data that users can view. They come in a variety of screen sizes and visual resolutions.
Printers produce a hard copy version of processed data such as documents and photographs.

Speakers/Headphones
produce audio data that require output devices such as speakers and headphones to deliver the sound to the user.

CD, DVD and floppy disc are output devices that can also be used as storage and input devices. The computer sends data to the disc, where it is embedded and can be later retrieved.

Projectors are display devices that project a computer created image. The computer sends the image data to the video card which then sends the video image to the projector.
Plotters create a hard copy rendition of a digitally rendered design. The design is sent to the plotter via a graphics card, and creates the design using a pen.

EXAMPLES OF INPUT
DEVICES
Keyboards which uses an arrangement of buttons or keys to act as mechanical levers or electronic switches.
A scanner is a hardware input device for a computer that helps convert photographs and paper text into digital files. Scanners hook up to computers through USB, Firewire and other ports.
A web camera, or webcam, is an input imaging device that typically connects to a USB port on a computer.

Mouse that functions by detecting two-dimensional  motion relative to its supporting surface.

Microphone a device that converts sound waves into analogous electrical waves.

USB was designed for personal computers, but it has become commonplace on other devices such as smartphones, PDAs and video, game console and as a power cord.

"Expectation"

Way back in my fourth year high school time I choose computer as my elective in T.L.E our instructor taught us how to use adobe Photoshop, Editing pictures and a sort background knowledge about computer but I know It's not enough though it helps me a lot.
One day I try to use Adobe Photoshop and sad to say I already forgot how to use the tools and some of use of it,thats why I expect that I will learn new things as the time goes since this subject Introduction to information Technology talks not only about computer.I hope that our instructor will impart his knowledge through teaching us well and lastly he will not be thrifty when it comes to grade because I know he has a Big heart and he will gave what we deserve to have.
